Here you will find Fequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) that we get and the answers to them. These range from specific questions to general questions about the department or the service as a whole.
This is a very generalized question but still a good one. At any point you feel there is an emergancy you should imediatly dial 911. It is also important to teach your kids about 911. When teaching kids it is important to establish with them that this number is for emergancy's only. Not only this but it is also important to ensure the kid knows the diffrences in a 911 emergancy and not. While anytime you call they will answer ready to serve you it is still important to ensure that our 911 center does not get flooded with non-emergant calls. - Firefighter Triston Lowers
The short answer to this is no. While you are able to contact a company that will recharge them for you in your area we simply do not have the equipment to recharge them in house. Even our own fire extinguishers have to be sent to a company to be re-charged. We do not know the pricing on the re-charging of your fire extiguisher as prices change based off company and material cost. However, it is important to keep in mind that the price a re-charged fire extinguisher is much cheaper than a new house. - Firefighter Triston Lowers

We respond to a number off different types of calls, some aren't as severe as was originally thought. In these and other cases as well we're no longer needed and we'll be cancelled in route. So we turn off our lights and sirens since we're no longer in "emergency mode" and return to station. - Firefighter/LT Anthony Hammer
