The MWVFD is in need of members to fill our ranks! If you are interested in joining you have came to the right place. You are about to embark on the best journey for not only yourself but for your community. This will not just be a place you go to when your bored, this is a place you will call home. We are so excited to watch you grow with us!
Our department has a paper aplication you can fill out or an eletronic application you can fill out . All of your training will be paid for,* this means you can get Fire I and II and be done or go all the way up to Fire Officer I and II. We want you to grow because if you grow we grow!
*All training is paid for on the term that you stay for a set amount of time
Are you interested in being apart of the department but your not quite 18 yet? Good news for you our department is one of few departments in the area that provide a Juniors Firefighter Program. In this program you can follow along side of current fire fighters in trainings, truck cleaning, and other administrative task. While you can't run calls yet at this age for legal reasons you will gain vaulable knowlege that you may not have had before becoming a full on fire fighter.
